The 1920s Tudor home had a birds used as a motif on its balconies and grillwork.  Using sightlines from the house and cues from the existing architecture, a gravel patio and formal parterre was designed to fit inbetween the sun porch and loggia.  Flowering trees were positioned to be seen from the long axial view through the home and a primitive bird sculpture was featured on a transitional walkway.
