Graceful curve and then short straight lines is interesting combo.
Vibs are odd because they often combine arcing grace with stubby little floral structures.
Reminded me of 3d models of scientific formulae or a primitive map!

Years ago I went to a show about maps at the Cooper-Hewitt and you’re right. Some of those maps were distinctly similar.

I’m not familiar with that particular viburnum, but those buds look promising!

Give it space. Delicate pink blossoms and knock your socks off fragrance. It never disappoints.

Good thing you aren’t home. Not good photography weather — 1-2 inches of rain expected, with gusts up to 40 mph. I worry about my hellebores. The snow’s all gone and the temps are dropping to the single digits later in the week.

Messy weather, learn lots.

Hope you’re snug and dry. Hellebores are tough, I’ve never been able to actually kill one–and that’s saying a lot.

Likewise fav. Ready here and still so exquisite w/that cinnamon color bark. Happy Monday and lovely nod of springs intent.

Even the leaves with their subtle texture in summer are beautiful. I’m sure there will be an image when in bloom–too bad there can’t be a scratch and sniff since the fragrance is incredible.
